We were once a group of visual artists who displayed and sold our works in non traditional venues, i.e. the streets and plazas of St.Augustine Florida, the oldest City in The U. S. According to Wanda Bray in the City of St. Augustine Public Affairs office, the group needed a permit because they requested part of St. George St, near the Plaza, to be blocked of for six hours and they needed the use of city power receptacles. If this was not a request they would not have needed a permit "since it was for religious purposes".
Did they have to get a permit for this?
